## Maximum charging current overall
The maximum charging current overall is the relevant parameter for calculating the maximum permissible current value shared by the charging points. The maximum permissible current value is calculated by subtracting the load reserve from the maximum charging current overall.

Note the following when setting the maximum charging current overall and the load reserve:

If you are using several charging points, the total minimum charging currents of all charging points used must be below or equal to the maximum permissible current value.

Example:

* 4 charging points of 6 A minimum charging current = 24 A total minimum charging current
* 30 A maximum charging current overall - 2.4 A load reserve (8% of maximum charging current overall) = 27.6 A max. permissible current value
* 24 A total minimum charging current < 27.6 A max. permissible current value

The maximum permissible current value is sufficient for configuration with four charging points.
