## Overcurrent protection device
The overcurrent protection device is the relevant parameter for calculating the maximum permissible current value shared by the charging points and other consumers. The maximum permissible current value is calculated by subtracting the load reserve from the overcurrent protection device.

Note the following when setting the overcurrent protection device and load reserve values:

If you are using several charging points, the total minimum charging currents of all charging points used must be below or equal to the maximum permissible current value.

Example:

* 4 charging points of 6 A minimum charging current = 24 A total minimum charging current
* 30 A overcurrent protection device - 2.4 A load reserve (8% of overcurrent protection device) = 27.6 A max. permissible current value
* 24 A total minimum charging current < 27.6 A max. permissible current value

The maximum permissible current value is sufficient for configuration with four charging points.
